Old Modern Handicrafts Black Pearl Pirate Ship
A great item for the Pirate of the Caribbean movie fans! Her speed is derived from the large amount of sails she carries. Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as: western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. This infamous Black Pearl model is fully coated in dark black paint. The front bowsprit and three large masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched unfurled sails made of fine linen. High above the foremast is a distinctive pirate flag with symbols of a skull and two blades crossing each other. On the deck, there are metal stationed cannons, wooden cabin, wooden stairways, wooden barrels, and many other spectacular ornaments. There is also an exquisite detailed admiral’s quarter on the stern with beautiful handcrafted metal lanterns, uniquely designed portholes, and other unique embellishments. This is an “Exclusive Edition” where the model has a unique serial number etched into the hull, which allows us to identify production date, material used and all other production information of a model. This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate. It’ll make a perfect gift for home or office decorator, boat enthusiast or passionate collector. Product Dimensions (L x W x H): 35 x 10.5 x 29 Inch. In the screenplay, the Black Pearl is easily recognised by her distinctive black hull and sails. This turns out to be an advantage in more than one way. Not only do the black sails act as a sort of intimidation tactic, but the Pearls crew can put out the deck lamps for added stealth at night. It was later raised from the sea floor by Davy Jones after making a pact with Jack Sparrow who rechristened her the Black Pearl. She is said to be “nigh uncatchable”. Hand made by me with airbrush and original paints! The Ticonderoga class of guided-missile cruisers is a class of warships in the United States Navy, first ordered and authorized in the 1978 fiscal year. The class uses passive phased-array radar and was originally planned as a class of destroyers. However, the increased combat capability offered by the Aegis Combat System and the AN/SPY-1 radar system, together with the capability of operating as a flagship, were used to justify the change of the classification from DDG (guided missile destroyer) to CG (guided-missile cruiser) shortly before the keels were laid down for Ticonderoga and Yorktown. With plastic display box! The item “USS South Dakota (BB-57) ship model diorama” is in sale since Tuesday, October 5, 2021. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Transportation\Boats & Ships\Military\Models”. The seller is “submarinesmodels” and is located in Sofia, Sofia. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Nice relic from the USS Constitution. Original piece of her, removed in 1973 during one of the major overhauls. Comes with certificate of authenticity from the USS Constitution Museum in Boston MA. Brief History of USS Constitution. Naval officers and crew still serve aboard her. The USS Constitution is operated by the United States Navy, a partner to the National Parks of Boston. The Naval History and Heritage Command, Detachment Boston, is housed in Building 24 and is responsible for the maintenance, repair and restoration of USS Constitution at the Navy Yard. Across the pier from Constitution in Building 22 is the USS Constitution Museum. The Museum serves as the memory and educational voice of USS Constitution and provides engaging and hands-on experiences for all visitors. Once the United States gained recognized independence, however, the young nation had to defend itself. In 1794, Congress authorized the construction of the first six warships to comprise the new United States Navy. Each of the six were built at different seaports along the eastern coast. Constitution was built at Hartt’s shipyard in the North End of Boston. Construction began in 1794 and Constitution launched on October 21, 1797. She went on her first cruise the next year as the Quasi-War with France emerged. Later she served in engagements with pirates off the Barbary coast in the Mediterranean. The greatest glory for Constitution, however, came during the War of 1812. Constitution’s crew defeated four British frigates during three separate engagements. She earned the nickname “Old Ironsides” because the cannon fire from enemy ships seemed as if they couldn’t penetrate her strong oak hull. Before and after these voyages, Constitution had to undergo constant repairs and refits. Most of that work throughout her service was here in Boston at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Established in 1800, the yard was one of six commissioned for the purpose of keeping the Navy afloat. After over 200 years in the Navy, Constitution still calls Charlestown home and relies on the same facilities for maintenance and repair. The item “Original piece of the USS Constitution Old Ironsides with COA US Navy ship” is in sale since Sunday, December 26, 2021. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Transportation\Boats & Ships\Military\Other Naval Collectibles”. The seller is “pa-history-coll” and is located in New York, New York.
