L: 55.1 W: 12.6 H: 31.5 Inches. Make a statement of fearsome power with this 55-inch handmade model of the Nemesis. Two-masted and rigged fore-and-after, this model also features paddle wheels connected by a bridge and a single tall funnel. Detailed features include ornate mounted canons, lifeboats, captain’s wheel, and other finely made miniatures. Hand-painted black and burgundy, this model comes on a wooden stand and with an ornate plaque bearing the name of Nemesis. Nemesis was England’s first ocean-going iron warship. Launched in 1839, the Nemesis was deployed to China where she served during the First Opium War under Captains William Hutcheon Hall and Richard Collinson. Armed with two pivot-mounted 32-pounder and four 6-pounder guns, her shallow draught and watertight bulkheads made her a formidable foe. In later years, Nemesis toured Indonesia and the Philippines where she worked to suppress pirates. Out-stretching even the 1/35 U. 40 Ton Tank Transporter Dragon Wagon (Item 35230), this kit is impressive in both size and intricacy of detail. Tamiya invites you to enjoy both mammoth vehicles and compare how WWII Germany and the U. Tackled the pressing need of tank recovery and repair! The trailer of the Tank Transporter Sd. 116 was suspended between two bogies, the rear of which was equipped with a separate steering mechanism. This model offers a great insight into the construction and operation of German’s giant beast-of-burden. After the impressive debut of the FAMO kit, Tamiya began to receive many requests for variations. Among the several types of FAMO to appear during WWII, the most frequently requested was the Sd. Stretching over 640mm, Tamiya’s new beast-of-burden is 50mm longer than the Dragon Wagon and is the longest kit in the MM series. The massive trailer unit consists of both the front and the rear wheeled pieces on either ends of the long platform piece. Real rubber tires for heightened realism. This kit features ample metal and metal plated parts for various accessory pieces such as a chain for fixing the tank in tow to the platform. This kit brings back the eight figures of four poses included in the original “FAMO” kit, plus four all-new figures of three poses acting out a tank loading scene at the rear of the trailer. Vehicle for loading is not included in kit.

26H x 9.50W x 28.50L. Right in your own home or office! The Friesland was a second rank vessel with 80 guns built around 1663, is available as a museum-quality, FULLY ASSEMBLED model. Master craftsmen using historical photographs, drawings or original plans meticulously handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as: western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. This Friesland model has distinctive two tone colors wood on the hull. The front bowsprit and three large masts are connected securely using advanced rigging and lines painstakingly knotted and fastened by hand. Each yard has an attached hand-stitched unfurled sails made of fine linen. On the deck, there are stationed cannons, an authentic hand-built lifeboat with ribs and planks, wooden cabin, and many other handcrafted ornaments. There is also an exquisite detailed admiral? Quarter on stern with beautiful handcrafted metal lanterns, statues, and ornaments. This model comes standard with a solid wood base and brass nameplate. L make a perfect gift for home or office decorator, boat enthusiast or passionate collector. The Friesland was a part of the Great Fleet of the United Province of Holland. It was built with 80 guns around 1663 and consisted of 1700 units. In 1672 it sided with 77 vessels under De Ruyters command and took part in the battle of Solebay with the Allied Anglo-French forces. This is a newly made piece in excellent condition.
