Beautiful 1:500 scale waterline model of Italian cruise Raimondo Montecuccoli, 1937. Length of the model is 14.5. Was displayed, but in as new condition. Box’s lid is slightly warped and needs to be a bit forced to close or open. This model was hand built by marine artist Alexander Scherbak from thoroughly and expertly selected hardwoods, with steel and brass wire parts and brass tubes for gun barrels. Only 4 of these models were built back in 2002. Model comes in hand made wooden box. SIZE: Scale 1:500. Length of the model – 7.5 (19 cm). This model was a part of the Series of ID style (identification, spotter, recognition) models. This series is designed for discerning 1:600 and 1:500 scale collectors to fill gaps in the WWII ID model production. We pack models with GREAT CARE using special materials and boxes. US Navy USS Ticonderoga CG-47 Guided Missile Cruiser 1988 Signed Crew Photograph, this commemorative photograph was signed by crewmen and the Captain in 1988 and presented to Dallas Cowboys Head Cheerleader Suzanne Mitchell as part of a USO Tour, Fine Condition as Photographed (measures 9 x 12 inches matted) – Recent Estate Acquisition & Presented as Acquired, Scarce. USS Ticonderoga (DDG/CG-47), nicknamed “Tico”, was a guided-missile cruiser built for the United States Navy. Navy combatant to incorporate the Aegis combat system. [3] The new AEGIS system allowed Ticonderoga to track and engage many aerial targets more effectively than any previous U. Ticonderoga entered service in 1983 and deployed later that year to the Mediterranean. [4] Over her first ten years of service, Ticonderoga deployed multiple times to the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans and the Persian Gulf. During Operation Desert Storm, she was attached to Battle Force Zulu and served as Arabian Gulf Track Coordinator. [4] Although she was built with a 35 year service life, the limited missile capacity of Ticonderoga’s twin Mark 26 missile launch systems rendered her obsolete by the end of the Cold War. As a result Ticonderoga adopted a primary mission of counter-narcotics in the 1990s and 2000s and made multiple patrols of the Caribbean in that role. I understand on broke or damaged however we are having some issues due to dishonest customers. HMS Eagle was an early aircraft carrier of the Royal Navy. Ordered by Chile during the South American dreadnought race as the Almirante Latorre-class battleship Almirante Cochrane, she was laid down before World War I. Her completion was delayed by labour troubles and the possibility that she might be repurchased by Chile for reconversion into a battleship, as well as the need for comparative trials to determine the optimum layout for aircraft carriers. Eagle spent the first nine months of World War II in the Indian Ocean searching for German commerce raiders. During the early part of the war, the Fleet Air Arm was desperately short of fighters and Eagle was equipped solely with Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers until late 1940. Whenever Eagle was not at sea, her aircraft were disembarked and used ashore. The German submarine U-73 torpedoed and sank Eagle on 11 August 1942 as Eagle was escorting a convoy to Malta during Operation Pedestal.
